At Allentown Cat Clinic, we strive to provide the best care for your feline companions while maintaining an efficient schedule for all our clients. To ensure a smooth experience, please review our appointment policies below.

Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Appointment Booking: Appointments can be scheduled by phone or requested through our Appointment Tab. We recommend booking in advance, as availability may be limited.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure we remain on schedule for other patients.
  • Cancellations & No-Shows:
    • If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to another patient in need.
    • General Appointments: Repeated no-shows, cancellations, or last-minute reschedules may require a $50 non-refundable booking fee to schedule future appointments. This fee will be applied toward your visit but is forfeited if you fail to attend, cancel, or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice. Due to our limited appointment availability, missed or late changes take time away from another patient in need of care.

 Patient Arrival Policy

  • For the safety of your cat, other patients, and our clinic staff, all cats must arrive in an appropriate carrier or on a secure leash. This helps ensure a stress-free and safe environment for everyone. If you need assistance bringing your cat inside, please call us upon arrival.

New Client Policy

  • New Client Booking Fee: A non-refundable $50 booking fee is required when scheduling your first appointment. This fee will be applied toward your visit but is forfeited if you fail to attend, cancel, or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice. Due to our limited appointment availability, missed or late changes take time away from another patient in need of care.
  • New Client Surgical Booking Fee: New clients scheduling a surgical procedure are required to pay a $150 non-refundable booking fee. This fee will be applied toward the procedure but is forfeited if the appointment is missed, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • Required Forms: New clients must complete our New Client Form before scheduling their appointment. Forms can be submitted online and one of our staff members will contact you to schedule within 24 business hours.
  • Medical Records: Please provide any previous medical records upon completion of scheduling to help our team offer the best care for your cat.

Emergency and Urgent Cases

  • Emergencies: If your cat is experiencing a medical emergency, please call us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate emergency cases, but in some situations, we may refer you to an emergency veterinary hospital.
  • Same-Day Urgent Appointments: We offer limited same-day appointments for urgent medical concerns. These are scheduled based on availability and may incur an additional urgent care fee.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Care Credit, All Pet Card and Scratch Pay.
  • Estimates: Upon request, we can provide an estimate for services before treatment. If additional care is needed during your visit, we will discuss any changes to the estimate with you.
